Let's clear some things up

  • Is this course designed for vaginal birthers or for Cesarean birthers?

    Great Question! This course is designed for BOTH. Birth experiences rarely go completely as planned, so the course is here to help you be informed on every birth option, so you'll be aware of the risks and benefits of each practice. You'll be able to legitimately consent to any procedure because you'll truly know what you're dealing with. So whether you birth vaginally or via Cesarean section, you'll be confident in each decision along the way.

  • Should my partner take this course with me?

    This course is designed for the birther in mind and the partner as a secondary participant. A partner should be involved in the birth planning process as much as possible, which is an important step in supporting the birthing parent.

  • Is this course inclusive for LGBTQIA+ parents?

    Yes! This course has inclusive language to make space for all family types. We're happy you're here.

  • I've used my HSA/FSA for doula services in the past, can I use it to purchase this course?

    Most HSA and FSA plans allow you to use those funds for purchasing doula services. You may be able to use your HSA/FSA to purchase this course, since it is taught by a trained doula and is designed to help you prepare for birth. However, its always best to check your HSA/FSA guidelines beforehand. You can also purchase this course with your debit/credit card, and then ask insurance for reimbursement, if eligible.

Whitney Davis (she/her) is the founder of Birth Mentors and the creator of its courses and memberships. She is a hypnobirthing trained birth doula. She has extensive knowledge in all things related to pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Whitney brings doula services to the online world by offering courses and coaching calls to expectant parents who want to be well-educated and highly prepared for their upcoming birth. She's had three unique birth experiences that allow her to extend additional knowledge and experience onto her clients. From an all-natural and pain-free home water birth, a medicated vaginal birth in the hospital, and an unmedicated yet pain-free vaginal hospital birth, Whitney has a lot of personal experience in addition to her professional knowledge.
